Grand Lyon is member of Energie-Cities, which is an association of European local authorities to promote local sustainable energy policy and the development of renewable energies in cities. It was created in 1990 and it comprises 200 members from 26 European countries. Its headquarters are in the French city of Besançon and in Brussels, Belgium.

Hespul Network:

Hespul is a founding member of EREF, which gathers the European renewable independent producers of electricity and fuels from all renewable energy sources except large hydro.

Hespul is a Board member of the National association network, specialised in Renewable Energies, called "CLER" (Comité de liaison Energie Renouvelable).

Hespul is a founding board member of RAC-F (Climate Action Network-France), French node of the "Climate Action Network", a worldwide network of over 450 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) working to promote government and individual action to limit human-induced climate change to ecologically sustainable levels.

Hespul is a member of AMORCE, the national association of local authorities, associations and companies, specialised on waste management, Energy & district heating.


PARTICIPATION IN MUNICIPAL/LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS:
Grand-Lyon Networks:

UCLG was created in 2004 after the merging of the International Union of Local Authorities (IULA), the World Federation of United Cities (WFUC), and Metropolis. Its mission is to be the united voice and world advocate of democratic local self-government, promoting its values, objectives and interests through cooperation between local governments in the international community. It has members in over 127 countries. Its headquarter is based in Barcelona, Spain.

Hespul Networks:

Hespul is one of 11 associations of the regional network called "Info Energy Rhone-Alps "(IERA), that aims at developing energy efficiency and renewable energies;

Hespul is a Board member of VAD (Sustainable city and urban planning)
